Omari, the lead character in the hit television series, was a cast member for 4 seasons of the show. He undoubtedly played his role and ghost in the greatest fashion and fans just couldn't imagine another actor with the role.
Hardwick, who didn't really have any lead roles prior to the series, started feeling his should be earning more, and while earning $150,000 per episode, he wanted more. His negotiations for higher earnings failed, and when he couldn't get the check he was demanding, he quit the show.
Since then, he has publicly criticized 50 cents decision to end the drama television series and since then, 50 has advised the fans that he and Omari are no longer friends, and states that Omari over values himself.
Hardwick has not had much employment as an actor since he quit the show, and has maybe started in two films, and only one of them he was cast as a lead role, but the film didn't;t really get much buzz.
Naturi Naughton, his co-star that portrayed his wife on the show as Tasha, responded to 50 cents shade towards the actors and said "there would be no power without ghost", she continued and said,
"That’s insane to me! Omari is literally the epitome of ‘Power" and then “I love Omari Hardwick. He’s an amazingly talented human. He’s also a good person. But there would be no ‘Power’ without Ghost.”.
